BSO's New Years Resolution

The New Year is here! It's time for goal setting and making some plans for a huge 2008. We are going to start by making a New Year's Resolution; 'send an email newsletter to all our customers each and every month in 2008' and would like to challenge all of you to do the same.

Like most of you our days are busy and full with the day to day running of the business. Finding and making time to send email newsletters and updates can easily drop to a low priority.

When we started BSO in 1999 one of our very first clients told us they had chosen to give us their business because they only ever heard from there previous provider when he was chasing an invoice. This was an important lesson we learnt early on, make contact with customers on a regular basis or they will soon feel unappreciated. Remember its not service or price that is the number reason customers change suppliers its feeling unappreciated. Sending regular personalised email newsletters in one very easy way to keep in contact with your customers and keep them feeling loved.

I am putting a reoccurring reminder in my calendar for the 10th of every month now; 'send newsletters'. If you want to take me up on the challenge do the same. In 2007 we started including video on our pages and newsletters. In 2008 we look forward to doing much more video and homing our skills with the camera.
